The Yankees are pretty good when it comes to discipline at the plate. And many Bombers are just as serious about their song selection when strolling up to the batter's box.
Surprisingly, Bernie Williams chooses silence. But according to the Yankees entertainment folks, there was an incident during a conference on the pitcher's mound while Williams was on second base, when the music people played a song off of Williams' album, "The Journey Within."
They said he just stood there smiling, as if thinking to himself, "Hey, that's my music."
