 Celebrities make their NFL picks

 Page 3's first-annual NFL celebrity pick'em is underway. To play, celebs had to meet one very simple requirement: a passion for the game. In turn, ESPN will make a charitable donation to the winners' charity of choice.

In Week 1, tennis player James Blake and Lakers forward Luke Walton tied for first place with 13 points. Blake has Jacksonville Jaguars' rookie Ernest Wilford to thank for his top positioning -- catching Byron Leftwich's game-winning touchdown pass in between three defenders converted into Blake's 2-point lock of the week.

Meanwhile, Andy Roddick had a tough week as the only player to miss his lock ... A dismal 6-9 start makes us think Steve Harris can use some uh, "practice" ... And with 12 points, Mama McNabb comes on strong in more than just her Chunky Soup commercials, meaning there's a whole lot more riding on Week 2's Monday Night Football matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings.

The rules:
  • Games are picked straight up
  • Poolers pick one lock-of-the-week, indicated by an asterisk*
  • Every other game is worth +1 if won and 0 points if lost
  • Lock is worth +2 points if won and -2 points if lost
  • Five points added to overall score for a perfect week
  • In the event of a tie, pool will extend to postseason
