 Celebrities make their NFL picks

 Bow wow wow yippee yo yippee yeah.

In Week 3 it's rapper Bow Wow who has emerged from mediocrity -- like his beloved Falcons -- going 12-2 and soaring into a first place tie with tennis player and Giants fan James Blake in the overall standings. Bow Wow definitely sees something in those Jacksonville Jaguars because he's picked them to win each week.

Last week's leaders, Holly Robinson Peete and Luke Walton, didn't have such a hot week. Both chose Kansas City as their lock picks and lost as the Texans defeated the Chiefs.

Congratulations to actor Steve Harris, who had an impressive 11-3 week, a definite improvement over his last place finishes in weeks 1 and 2.

The race is tight. Pat McGee, Drew Lachey, and Wilma McNabb all lurk closely behind. Stay tuned as things heat up in Week 4.

The rules:
  • Games are picked straight up
  • Poolers pick one lock-of-the-week, indicated by an asterisk*
  • Every other game is worth +1 if won and 0 points if lost
  • Lock is worth +2 points if won and -2 points if lost
  • Five points added to overall score for a perfect week
  • In the event of a tie, pool will extend to postseason
