One last hurrah

March 15, 2004

It's tourney time, my favorite time of year. Not only is it spring in New England, but it is also basketball, basketball, basketball.

For the next month, every channel will have a hoops game on, and when I am not practicing, going to class or studying for a test, you can bet I will be watching.

Yesterday was Selection Sunday, and as you already know we are in the East. I just cannot wait for all this to finally get started. I can't stand these long breaks without a game.

We just finished Spring Break and everyone has come back all tan and tired. We are fresh, though, and we are excited to get back on the court. This is the final go around for Dee (Taurasi), Maria (Conlon) and me, and we really want to make this one special!

School is almost done. We have about another month and a half left before finals. It's kind of cool that we get out so much earlier this year. I like it more than getting out in the beginning of June. Then I have no clue what my life will hold. I need to get a job or make a plan for the summer.

For now, I am going to enjoy my last month as a student-athlete and have some fun with my teammates.
