Indiana and Cincinnati have scheduled a home-and-home series in 2021 and '22, a source said.
The 2021 contest will be played in Bloomington, Indiana, and the 2022 game in Cincinnati.
The schools are located about 130 miles apart, but the Hoosiers and Bearcats have not played since 2000. The 14-game series dates back to 1896.
Indiana has won the last five meetings between the schools.
