The Auburn Tigers and Clemson Tigers have scheduled a home-and-home series for the 2016 and 2017 seasons, the schools announced Wednesday. Auburn will host Clemson at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 3, 2016. Auburn will then visit Memorial Stadium on Sept. 9 of the following year. In order to meet its SEC-mandated nonconference game against a Power Five conference, Auburn turned to a familiar foe in ACC power Clemson. The two programs have played one another a whopping 49 times, with Auburn holding a 34-13-2 advantage. The Tigers last met in 2012 when Clemson won the neutral-site season-opener in Atlanta 26-19. Defending SEC champ Auburn travels to Kansas State of the Big 12 this season and is scheduled to meet new ACC member Louisville in Atlanta to open the 2015 season.
