Indiana loses WR Harris to season-ending knee injury

College Football, Indiana Hoosiers

CHICAGO -- Indiana wide receiver J-Shun Harris II will miss the season with a torn knee ligament.

Harris was the Hoosiers' leading returning receiver, with 18 catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns last year as a freshman. Indiana coach Kevin Wilson also said Thursday during Big Ten media days that wide receiver Camion Patrick, a junior college transfer, has not yet been declared eligible to play.

Harris' injury leaves Dominque Booth, who caught seven passes for 70 yards as a freshman, as Indiana's leading returning receiver.

The Hoosiers also lost their leading returning tackler in the offseason when safety Antonio Allen was dismissed from the team after being arrested on drug-dealing charges.
