In the SEC, Ole Miss, Georgia both flop

No. 3 Ole Miss and No. 8 Georgia fell hard on Saturday by identical 38-10 scores. Ole Miss lost four turnovers to No. 25 Florida and struggled to stop quarterback Will Grier, who threw four touchdown passes. No. 13 Alabama, meanwhile, scored touchdowns on offense, defense and in the kicking game in a rout of Georgia.

Big numbers for the Big 12

No. 4 TCU scorched Texas, jumping out to a 30-0 first-quarter lead, and Trevone Boykin threw five touchdown passes in a 50-7 rout. Shock Linwood rushed for a career-high 221 yards for No. 5 Baylor as the Bears swallowed up Texas Tech 63-35, and Baker Mayfield threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns as No. 15 Oklahoma steamrolled No. 23 West Virginia in a 44-24 win.

Arizona State 38, No. 7 UCLA 23

The Sun Devils pinned down the Bruins, holding UCLA running back Paul Perkins to 63 yards and knocking them from the unbeaten ranks.

No. 12 Clemson 24, No. 6 Notre Dame 22

After cornering them with an 18-point lead, the Tigers stared down the Fighting Irish, stopping quarterback DeShone Kizer on what would've been a game-tying two-point conversion with seven seconds left.
