Willie Cauley-Stein reportedly has changed his name to Willie Trill Cauley-Stein

Well, it's official. According to KentuckySports.com, former Kentucky basketball star Willie Cauley-Stein has made his widely known hyphenated last name his legal name. Cauley-Stein was born Willie Durmond Cauley Jr. but filed a name-change order on Friday with the Probate Division of the Fayette District Court, as a gesture to honor his mother.

That wasn't the only modification he made. Cauley-Stein has introduced "Trill" as his new middle name. Because if you're going to legally change your middle name, you might as well do it right.

As his mother, Marlene Stein, told KentuckySports.com, "Trill is the "nickname his 'boys' call him." Marlene said the addition of "Trill" wasn't planned in advance, but his decision didn't give us pause. Cauley-Stein is destined for a league that has seen the likes of "Metta World Peace," so in comparison, his new middle name seems quite mild. It is all relative.

Nonetheless, from now on, no one need question if Cauley-Stein is keeping it trill ... he's the trillest.
