Danuel House cleared to play

Texas A&M's Danuel House has been cleared to play this season by the NCAA.

The 6-foot-7 forward, who averaged 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds last season for the Houston Cougars, received a waiver from the NCAA on Friday. He tweeted the news Friday morning.

Aggies coach Billy Kennedy confirmed that House has been cleared. House will join the team in Puerto Rico and play in Sunday's game against the winner of New Mexico-George Mason in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

House will be an important addition for Kennedy and the Aggies -- who also have one of the most underrated point guards in the country in Alex Caruso.
