GREENSBORO, N.C. -- UNC Greensboro has extended coach Wes Miller's contract two years through the 2018-19 season, athletic director Kim Record announced Monday.

The Spartans went 11-22 and were 6-12 in the Southern Conference while finishing the season with six scholarship players due to injuries.

UNC Greensboro has won at least 10 games in each of Miller's four seasons after finishing with eight or fewer wins every year from 2009 to 2011.

Record says Miller and his staff "have worked tirelessly to lay a foundation of success and create a championship culture."

Miller played at North Carolina from 2004 to 2007 under coach Roy Williams and was a member of the school's 2005 national championship team.
