LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville coach Rick Pitino has announced that freshman forward Shaqquan Aaron will transfer. Aaron averaged 1.3 points in 23 games for the Cardinals, highlighted by an 11-point, five-rebound effort at Wake Forest in January. The 6-foot-7 Seattle native missed the season's first nine games while the NCAA determined his amateur status. Pitino said in a release that "we are in total agreement with Shaqquan transferring and we wish him the best." Aaron is the second Cardinals player to leave the program since a season-ending loss to Michigan State in the NCAA tournament East Region final. The school announced last week that sophomore reserve guard Anton Gill will transfer.
