NEWARK, N.J. -- NCAA champion Villanova will play Notre Dame and Pittsburgh will play Penn State in the inaugural Never Forget Tribute Classic at Prudential Center on Dec. 10.
The matchups were announced Wednesday. The event will partner with the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, which helps support the education of children of the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The Villanova-Notre Dame game will be part of a doubleheader on CBS with the Army-Navy football game.
