CHICAGO -- Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton and catcher Devin Mesoraco are ailing and out of the starting lineup for Monday night's game against the Chicago Cubs.
Mesoraco stayed in Cincinnati to undergo an MRI on his ailing left hip. The 2014 All-Star is hitting .095 with two hits and zero RBIs in six games.
Brayan Pena was in the Cincinnati lineup in place of Mesoraco.
Hamilton was out because of what the team called general soreness. He has stolen seven bases this season, the most in the majors.
