J.J. Watt sets another record

HOUSTON -- Add another record to J.J. Watt's tally.

With three sacks against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Texans defensive end became the first player in NFL history with 20 or more sacks in two different seasons.

Watt's third sack of the game was also a safety, which put the Texans ahead 23-17.

Watt had 20.5 sacks in 2012, the year he was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year.

With his total Sunday, Watt has notched more than two sacks in each game against the Jaguars this season. It was his sixth game with multiple sacks, all of which have come against AFC South teams.

Watt entered the game as the Texans' all-time sack leader with 54 career sacks. He has scored two defensive touchdowns and caught three touchdown passes this season, making him the first player in NFL history with a pick-six, a fumble return for a touchdown and three touchdown catches in a single season.

Watt also entered the game leading the NFL in quarterback hurries and hits with 47, tackles for loss with 25 and fumble recoveries with five.
