TORRANCE, Calif. -- Former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens has pleaded no contest to driving drunk in a Southern California beach town.
Prosecutors say Stevens entered pleas Thursday to two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 -- both within 10 years of a previous DUI offense.
Stevens, who's the husband of women's soccer star Hope Solo, was arrested in January in Manhattan Beach while driving a van owned by the U.S. women's national soccer team.
Authorities say Stevens's blood alcohol level was at least 0.15 percent -- nearly twice the legal limit.
Solo, who was with Stevens, was suspended from the national team for 30 days for what soccer officials only defined as health-related issues.
Stevens also has a 2007 DUI conviction in Arizona.
