Former New Orleans Saints pass-rusher Junior Galette is facing more legal trouble after being cited with three traffic violations on July 7 in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Galette's traffic citations were first reported Wednesday by TMZ Sports. Galette was cited for driving with an expired license, driving a vehicle with a suspended license and not having a proper brake tag, according to Jefferson Parish records. His arraignment is scheduled for August 10.  The traffic violations are the latest in a series of incidents that helped lead the Saints to release their embattled pass-rusher earlier this week. Galette was charged with domestic violence in January after allegedly injuring a female houseguest while trying to remove her from his home. Charges were dismissed in that case, though a civil suit is still pending. In addition, the Saints and the NFL were made aware of a 2013 video that surfaced in July that allegedly shows Galette striking a woman with a belt during a group scuffle on a beach that was recorded by an onlooker. In the video, a man who appears to be Galette fights another man using his belt. He then swings the belt at the surrounding group and strikes a woman twice with it. Later on, he shoves several people and throws a punch. Galette's attorney, Ralph Whalen, told media outlets that there is no proof his client is the person in the video. No charges were filed in that incident. It's unclear if Galette could face a NFL suspension for either incident if he winds up signing with another team. Galette told media members that he met with NFL officials about a month ago, but the league would only confirm that their review is ongoing. The Saints released Galette even though it meant absorbing a cap hit of more than $17 million after he signed a four-year, $41.5 million contract extension last year.
