Kicker Connor Barth agrees to rejoin Bucs after being cut by Broncos

TAMPA, Fla. - Connor Barth is coming back to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The place-kicker took to Twitter to announce he has agreed to terms with the team with which he has spent most of his NFL career.

Barth was released by the Denver Broncos on Wednesday after losing out to Brandon McManus in a kicking competition.

Barth, 29, first came into the league with Kansas City in 2008. He spent the next four seasons with the Bucs before tearing his Achilles tendon in a charity basketball game and missing the 2013 season.

In 2014, the Bucs elected to go with Patrick Murray over Barth, who later signed with Denver. Barth now will compete with Murray for the kicking job.
