Brandon Linder, Marqise Lee out vs. Indy

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jaguars will be without their best offensive lineman and most explosive playmaker for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Right guard Brandon Linder will miss the game with a shoulder injury, while receiver Marqise Lee's continued hamstring issues are keeping him out for the second time this season.

Linder played through the injury and Lee aggravated his hamstring during the Jaguars' loss at New England last week.

"It's something we've got to monitor," coach Gus Bradley said about Linder. "I suppose you could say [Linder] probably [had] a setback. I don't know if it was due to playing. In practice he just didn't feel like it was there."

Linder has started 18 of 19 games since the Jaguars drafted him in the third round in 2014. The Jaguars will decide between rookie A.J. Cann and second-year player Tyler Shatley as Linder's replacement for Sunday.

Lee hasn't been nearly as durable. This will be the fifth game he has missed due to injury since he was drafted in the second round in 2014. Lee hurt his hamstring on the fifth day of training camp, when he left practice after experiencing tightness. He missed the rest of training camp, the preseason and the season opener but played 22 snaps in the Jaguars' victory over Miami in Week 2.

He left last week's game against New England in the first half and didn't practice this week.

"I don't know how long it's going to be [that Lee is out], but I think we really need to take a look at it and see what would be the benefit of some time," Bradley said. "That time could be a couple days to a week to ... what would be the benefits of him resting it?"

Lee said his frustration level has soared but he is trying to stay positive.

"I think about it as far as this: I don't want to come in every day with a negative mindset," Lee said. "I don't think that'll help me heal even faster. I think that'll make it even worse. I think about just coming in with a positive mindset and thinking about the positive.

"I'm not out for the season. Yeah, I want to be out there playing, but I'm not out for the season. I've got time, so we're just doing the right things right now. I'm just doing anything the trainers want me to do."
