Vikings' Teddy Bridgewater returns to game after injuring left shoulder

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater headed to the locker room with a left shoulder injury after Green Bay Packers linebacker Julius Peppers drove him into the ground on a sack with just over two minutes left in the first half.

Bridgewater returned to the game shortly before halftime with the Vikings trailing 16-6.

Bridgewater was trying to escape pressure when Peppers hit him and drove him to the ground. He was on the ground in pain for several seconds after the play, and backup Shaun Hill replaced Bridgewater on third down, throwing an incomplete pass, which forced the Vikings to punt.

Bridgewater returned with with six seconds left in the half. He was 10-for-12 for 99 yards in the first half, throwing a 47-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Rudolph. Bridgewater also scrambled twice for 14 yards.
