Karlos Williams knocked out of game in first quarter

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams left in the first half of Sunday's 30-22 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and did not return.

Williams injured his shoulder on a 2-yard run in the first quarter and immediately departed for the locker room. He had two carries for 5 yards before leaving the game.

LeSean McCoy's primary backup this season, Williams was averaging 5.8 yards per carry entering Sunday's game. He scored a touchdown in each of his first six career games, tying an NFL record set by New England's Robert Edwards in 1998.
