Sabres call up three players

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres have recalled three forwards, including Mikhail Grigorenko, from the minors to fill their trade-depleted roster.

Tim Schaller and Jerry D'Amigo were also called up from AHL Rochester on Tuesday before the Sabres play at Tampa Bay.

The moves came a day after Buffalo dealt three forwards and goalie Michal Neuvirth in four separate deals. In return, Buffalo acquired New York Islanders backup goalie Chad Johnson, minor league prospect Jack Nevins and four draft picks.

Grigorenko, Buffalo's 2012 first-round draft pick, has four goals and six assists in 55 career games with the Sabres.

Schaller leads Rochester with 15 goals, and rejoins Buffalo for a third time this season.

D'Amigo has yet to play for the Sabres since being acquired in a trade with Columbus in December.
