Braydon Coburn to return for Lightning

TAMPA -- Defenseman Braydon Coburn will be in the lineup for Game 1 of the Tampa Bay Lightning's first-round playoff series against the Detroit Red Wings.

The Lightning acquired the veteran blueliner from the Philadelphia Flyers on March 2, but he has played only four games with Tampa before suffering a lower-body injury that cost him the final 14 games of the regular season.

"It's exciting to be in this position with this team," Coburn said after the team's morning skate Thursday at Amalie Arena. "I've been given a chance to come in here and show my stuff for the playoffs."

Coburn, who was paired with fellow defenseman Matt Carle at the morning skate, had 72 games of playoff experience with the Flyers, including the 2010 Stanley Cup finals.

Also, Lightning coach Jon Cooper said defenseman Andrej Sustr and forward Alex Killorn will be in the lineup for Game 1. Both had been sidelined with injuries.
