Former NHL goaltender Martin Brodeur has been named St. Louis Blues assistant general manager.
Team president and general manager Doug Armstong announced the news Wednesday afternoon after Brodeur and the team came to a three-year agreement.
Brodeur played seven games for the Blues this season before retiring to join the club's front office as senior adviser to the general manager.
