Mike Fisher leaves ice without putting weight on right leg

NHL, Nashville Predators

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Predators center Mike Fisher left Tuesday night's game against the Arizona Coyotes with a lower-body injury and did not return in the 5-2 win.

The team did not have an update on Fisher's condition following the game.

At 7:56 of the second period, Arizona's Martin Hanzal checked Fisher into the left boards inside the Coyotes' zone. Fisher fell to the ice, and his right skate came into contact with the boards after he fell. The 35-year-old left the ice without putting any weight on his right leg.

The veteran has five goals and two assists in 23 games for the Predators.

Fisher is married to country music star Carrie Underwood.
