Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Virginia Tech Hokies

4:30 p.m. ET, ESPN3

Projected line: Virginia Tech -2
Projected total: 164

Wednesday's win over Louisville gave Wake Forest a much-needed boost to its resume. The NCAA tournament now looks like a possibility for the Demon Deacons, who head into Saturday's game at Virginia Tech with 17 total wins and an 8-9 mark in ACC play. There is no "easy" schedule in the ACC, but in terms of being favorable, Wake is right at the top. The Demon Deacons drew two games against bottom feeders Clemson, NC State and Boston College while playing Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech at home. Those games accounted for six of Wake's eight league wins. Of the current top five -- North Carolina, Notre Dame, Louisville, Duke and Florida State -- Wake Forest played only the Blue Devils twice.
