INDIANAPOLIS -- Offensive linemen and running backs were put through the gauntlet on Day 1 of drills at the NFL combine. Here's who helped their stock the most with their testing results.
T.J. Logan, RB, North CarolinaLogan caught some eyes Friday by recording the lone sub-4.4 40 time of the running back group (4.37), while also coming in the top 10 for the broad jump (10 feet, 1 inch). At 5-foot-9 and 196 pounds, the undersized back also recorded a respectable 17 reps on the bench test and showcased quick lateral agility and acceleration during drill work. Logan is polished as a receiver in the passing game, and while he had an uncharacteristic drop during drills, overall he displayed quality body control and hand-eye coordination catching the ball, which matches up with his tape. In a deep running back class, Logan is an under-the-radar Day 3 prospect whose speed gives him a chance to be a change-of-pace RB and a returner on special teams (two kickoff return TDs in 2016).
