Each week during the college football season, Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay kick off the week by settling a debate, looking at emerging NFL prospects and peeking ahead to next week.
Among this week's topics: Whether Ohio State or someone else is the best team in college football, the rise of TCU wideout Josh Doctson on NFL draft boards, and the likelihood of Arkansas running the football on Alabama this week:
The big question: Who is the best team in college football right now?
Mel Kiper:
Even their own fans might be surprised -- perhaps especially so -- but I'll stay with Ohio State. Yes, they continue to win in uninspiring fashion, and I think it's clear Urban Meyer has lost a measure of confidence in his QB situation, but I will stick with the Buckeyes for now.
