Fournette can't keep this pace but can break records

Some are calling 2015 "The Year of the Running Back."

In this era of QB-centric offenses, a few of the nation's top teams are actually putting the ball into the hands of one rusher and hoping his legs can overcome quarterback play that's not exactly at a championship level. Those rushers include Florida State's Dalvin Cook, Georgia's Nick Chubb, Alabama's Derrick Henry and Ezekiel Elliott of Ohio State -- who'd have thought a month ago that he'd be put into this category? Even one back with strong QB play on his side, Baylor's Shock Linwood, is racking up nearly 150 rush yards per game and almost 9.5 yards per carry.
