Ole Miss can win the West

It's easy to understand why the Ole Miss Rebels aren't being considered strong contenders for the SEC title. After all, the Rebels haven't won the SEC since 1963, have never played in a SEC title game and haven't had a winning conference record since 2008.

Daunting as those historical precedents are, the reality of the situation is there are a number of factors pointing toward Ole Miss being on the verge of a very memorable dark horse contender campaign.

One of the top passers in the SEC

Bo Wallace may not be the first person who comes to mind when naming some of the top returning quarterbacks in the country, but he should be on that list. Wallace is one of the most prolific and accurate passers in the history of the program, as he ranks in the top three in career total yards, passing yards, completion, completion percentage, passing efficiency and 300-yard games.
