UK will again contend for title

Insider Men's College Basketball, Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky Wildcats

2013-14 finish: 29-11 (12-6 SEC)
In-conference offense: 1.09 points per possession (third)
In-conference defense: 1.01 points allowed per possession (fifth)

When Kentucky came up short against UConn in the 2014 NCAA title game, it was widely assumed there would be another mass exodus in Lexington, as has been the case in recent years.

However, not everyone left early. Julius Randle departed and was a lottery pick, and James Young bolted after one season and was taken in the first round -- but everyone else stuck around.

The result is an absolutely loaded roster, but can this group of Wildcats develop the chemistry needed to again compete for a national championship?
