Rangers could contend in 2015

To say that the Texas Rangers have had a forgettable season is to greatly underestimate the abilities of the human memory.

The 2014 Rangers have actually been quite a memorable team, following up four consecutive 90-win seasons with a massive belly flop off the high dive; they're 54-90, sitting in last place in the AL West and are heavy favorites to finish with baseball's worst record. If you haven't been following closely this season and took one look at their current roster, you'd probably surmise that the MLBPA went on strike and the owners had begun using replacement players. Given the nature of this disaster of a season, what can we realistically expect out of next year's Rangers?

The Rangers have had injury troubles this season ... which is a massive understatement.
