College football is almost upon us, which means the 2016 NFL Draft will be here before you know it. Those of us at Scouts Inc. -- myself, Kevin Weidl and Steve Muench -- spent the summer scouring tape and ranking the top players at each position from a draft perspective.
Below is our preseason evaluation of the best defensive linemen in the 2016 draft.

Top 10 defensive ends
1. Joey Bosa, Ohio State Buckeyes*: A highly disruptive and productive pass rusher, Bosa is entering his third season as a starter after notching 34.5 tackles for loss and 21 sacks during his first two years in Columbus. He shows a consistent ability to convert speed to power and uses a wide array of pass-rush moves -- swim, rip, club, spin. With experience playing DE on both sides and moving inside to DT on obvious pass downs, Bosa brings a lot of scheme versatility to the table. He's the No. 1 overall player on our board entering the season.
