Ohio edges away from Arkansas-Pine Bluff 69-60

ATHENS, Ohio -- Maurice Ndour scored 21 points with 12 rebounds as Ohio held off Arkansas-Pine Bluff 69-60 on Tuesday night.

Ndour hit 7 of 12 shots and was a perfect 7-for-7 at the foul line as Ohio (2-1) scored 21 points at the line in the win.

Marcel Mosley led Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1-5) with 20 points and the Golden Lions hung close, trailing just 30-28 at halftime.

Ghiavonni Robinson (13 points) provided some fire during a 9-0 run just after halftime -- nailing a 3-pointer and then a dunk as the Golden Lions went up by five.

But Javarez Willis (16 points) hit one of his four 3-pointers with 11:42 to play that gave Ohio the lead 46-45. Though the Bobcats were often tied they never trailed again, and finally broke clear in the last 4:22 on free throws by Ryan Taylor and Ndour and a layup by Willis.
