Harvard routs Penn, 63-38 to stay game behind Yale

PHILADELPHIA -- Siyani Chambers scored 14 points and led four players in double-figure scoring as Harvard routed Penn, 63-48, to maintain a share of second place in the Ivy League, a game back of undefeated Yale.

The Crimson (13-5, 3-1 Ivy) roared to a 36-15 lead at intermission and cruised home, with 16 players seeing playing time.

Harvard held a nine-point lead, 18-9, coming out of a timeout with 7:29 remaining and closed out the half on an 18-6 run.

Harvard was 24 of 49 from the field (49 percent) and knocked down 4 of 8 from distance and was 11 of 13 from the free throw line.

Wesley Saunders scored 11 points for the Crimson and Steve Moundou-Missi and Agunwa Okolie each contributed 10. Jonah Travis pu8lled down 10 rebounds.

Matt Howard was the lone scorer to reach double figures for the Quakers (6-11, 11-2), scoring 11 points.
