Harvard rallies late to beat Princeton 63-55

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Wesley Saunders scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Harvard rallied late in the game to beat Princeton 63-55 on Saturday night.

Steve Moundou-Missi and Siyani Chambers added 12 points apiece for the Crimson (19-5, 9-1 Ivy League) who lead in conference by one game. Jonah Travis chipped in 10 points.

Princeton went up 26-14 midway through the first half on a 14-3 run highlighted by back-to-back baskets by Ben Hazel and Spencer Weisz and led 37-29 at the break.

Harvard battled back in the second half to tie it, 44-44, on a pair of free throws by Travis with 11:56 to play. A late 10-4 surge put Harvard on top 57-53 with 1:37 left and a jumper by Chambers and a layup by Corbin Miller in the final minute helped clinch the win for the Crimson, their eighth-straight.

Clay Wilson led the Tigers (12-13, 5-4) with 10 points.
