Georgetown beats Brown 17-3

WASHINGTON -- Kyle Nolan passed for one touchdown and Daniel Wright ran for another Saturday and Georgetown beat Brown 17-3.

The Hoyas defense held the Bears to 88 total yards rushing and forced two fumbles and two interceptions, both by Ettian Scott. Alec May had a career-high four sacks. Jordan Richardson recovered a fumble on the Georgetown 2-yard line to deny Brown (0-1) a scoring chance.

Georgetown (2-2) rushed for 250 total yards, including 104 on 18 carries by Jo'el Kimpela and 90 yards on seven carries by Wright, who scored on a 57-yarder in the second quarter.

Nolan was 18 of 28 for 177 yards, including an interception and a 25-yard scoring pass in the third quarter to Jake DeCicco.

Brown (0-1) scored first on a 22-yard field goal by Grant Senne. Marcus Fuller was 18 of 31 for 202 yards and two interceptions.

Henry Darmstadter had a career-long 44-yard field goal for the Hoyas.
