A look at what's happening all around the major leagues Tuesday:

---

REELING REDS

Cincinnati will try to break its nine-game losing streak when rookie Michael Lorenzen starts vs. the visiting Rockies. The Reds' skid is their worst since an 11-game slide under Jack McKeon in 1998. They're also expecting to get results of an exam on ace Johnny Cueto, who missed his last start with stiffness in his elbow.

RANGERS ROLL

Prince Fielder has homered four times in four games for Texas, which has won six straight overall. A day after going hitless in his return to the majors, Rangers star Josh Hamilton hopes to get into the swing at Cleveland.

REVERSING COURSE

Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley got off to a sensational start this year after making his major league debut. But the 22-year-old was then hit in the face by a line drive, and is 0-1 with a 10.29 ERA in two starts since coming bac. He'll go against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

WERTH IT

Washington outfielder Jayson Werth will rejoin the team at Wrigley Field. He's been out because of a bruised left wrist and isn't expected to play against the Cubs. "We'll see where he's at as far as swinging the bat," manager Matt Williams said.

BACK SO SOON

Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy could return to the lineup against the Astros. He left Monday's game because of tightness in his back.
