NEW YORK -- Top overall pick Andrew Wiggins and three Minnesota Timberwolves teammates have been chosen to play in the Rising Stars Challenge at the NBA's All-Star weekend.

Zach LaVine and Shabazz Muhammad of Minnesota will play for the U.S. team, while the Wolves' Gorgui Dieng of Senegal is on the World team roster. Wiggins, leading all rookies with 15.2 points per game, is Canadian.

Rounding out the World team: Utah's Dante Exum (Australia) and Rudy Gobert (France), Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece), Chicago's Nikola Mirotic (Montenegro), Atlanta's Dennis Schroder (Germany), Oklahoma City's Steven Adams (New Zealand), Boston's Kelly Olynyk (Canada) and Brooklyn's Bojan Bogdanovic (Croatia).
