EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State forward Branden Dawson has a non-displaced fracture on his left wrist and will miss the team's next two games.
The school released details on Dawson's injury Thursday, one day after he was hurt in No. 25 Michigan State's 66-46 win over Eastern Michigan.
The Spartans face Texas Southern on Saturday.
Michigan State says Dawson could be back in time for the start of the Big Ten season. The 6-foot-6 senior is averaging 10.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Dawson was hurt when he landed hard after drawing a foul while going up for a dunk attempt.
