LAS VEGAS -- UNLV sophomore forward Christian Wood is leaving the Rebels early to enter the NBA draft.
Wood announced through a video on his Twitter account Wednesday that he will skip his final two years of eligibility.
An athletic 6-foot-11 forward, Wood was second on the team in scoring at 15.7 points and led the Rebels with 10 rebounds per game.
He is projected as a first-round pick.
Wood follows freshman Rashad Vaughn, the Rebels' leading scorer who declared for the draft April 8.
