ORLANDO, Fla. -- Shaheed Davis sank five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead UCF to a 65-54 win over UNC-Greensboro on Saturday night.

Adonys Henriquez added 13 points and Tacko Fall had 12 for UCF (1-2), which snapped a seven-game skid dating to last season. Daiquan Walker had seven assists and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds to help the Knights to a 46-35 advantage on the boards.

UCF broke open a double-digit lead early in the second half with a tip-in bucket from Fall that made it 38-28 before Greensboro (2-1) battled back. The Spartans briefly reclaimed the lead on a 3-point play from Asad Lamot before Francis Alonso's 3-pointer with 6:45 left gave them a 48-43 advantage. UCF then seized control with a 22-6 run down the stretch.

Marvin Smith led the Spartans with 15 points and Diante Baldwin had a career-high 11 rebounds.
