NEW ORLEANS -- Dylan Osetkowski scored 10 points and hauled in a career-high 16 rebounds to lead Tulane past Appalachian State for a 76-48 win Sunday.

Louis Dabney pumped in 13 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, Von Julien added 11 points and Melvin Frazier 10 for Tulane (2-2), which shot 55 percent on 53 attempts from the floor and dominated the boards 48-28.

Tulane took control from the opening tipoff, scoring the first 10 points of the game in an 18-2 run that gave the Green Wave a double-digit advantage it held the rest of the way.

After scoring just 17 points in the first half to trail by 28 at the break, Appalachian State (1-3) kept pace with Tulane's 31 second half points but was unable to cut into the deficit.

Griffin Kinney led the Mountaineers with 14 points and Frank Eaves added 11.
