Navy's free-throw shooting holds off UNC-Greensboro 70-66

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Tilman Dunbar scored 16 points -- 10 from the free-throw line -- and Navy defeated UNC-Greensboro 70-66 Friday night.

Leading 62-60 with 35 seconds to play, Dunbar made all six of his free throws and Kendall Knorr added two from the line to preserve the win.

After Dunbar's free throw made it 69-66, UNC-Greensboro's Diante Baldwin missed a 3-pointer with two seconds left.

The Spartans claimed their last lead of the night when Baldwin's layup made the score 60-59 with 1:40 to play. Shawn Anderson responded with a 3-point play on a layup.

Navy (4-2) got 14 points from Will Kelly who was 7-for-8 shooting with five blocks and four rebounds. Anderson also chipped in 14 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Francis Alonso came off the bench for UNC-Greensboro (2-2) to shoot 5 for 7 from 3-point range. Marvin Smith and Baldwin each had 11 points.
