Penn dominates the glass in 67-57 win over Harvard
PHILADELPHIA -- Darien Nelson-Henry scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and Max Rothschild finished with 14 points and 11 boards as Pennsylvania beat Harvard 57-47 on Saturday night.
Matt Howard added another double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds for Pennsylvania (8-11, 2/3 Ivy League). The trio combined for 34 rebounds as the Quakers outrebounded Harvard 53-32.
Agunwa Okolie made three-straight baskets to pull Harvard to 43-41 with 10 minutes remaining. But Howard hit a jumper and had a 3-point play, and Nelson-Henry's basket pushed the Quakers' lead to 50-43.
Okolie and Chris Egi each scored baskets to cut the Crimson's deficit to three. Nelson-Henry made a layup, Rotchschild added six points and Penn led 58-47 with 5:45 to play.
Patrick Steeves scored 13 to lead Harvard (9-13, 1-5). Corey Johnson had 11 points, and Okolie added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
