(STATS) -- Delaware State has been busy adding FBS opponents to future schedules.
The latest is Buffalo, which Delaware State will visit to open the 2018 season on Sept. 1. Buffalo won the only previous meeting.
It also was recently announced that Delaware State will play at West Virginia on Sept. 16, 2017, in a first-ever meeting.
The Hornets are coming off a 1-10 record, including 1-7 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, in coach Kenny Carter's first season. This year, they will visit Missouri on Sept. 24.
