Kuechly not mad about ejection, happy no fine
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly says he's not angry that he was wrongly ejected in the second half of Sunday's 38-17 loss to Green Bay.
Coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday the NFL informed him in a memo that officials made a mistake when they ejected the NFL's leading tackler when he inadvertently shrugged off an official who was trying to pull him away from a pile of players.
Kuechly said Thursday he's happy he wasn't fined.
When asked if he's mad, Kuechly said, "I don't think mad is the right word. I just want to play football and it's hard to watch from the locker room. I'm like, `Ugh, I want to get out there and play.' But stuff happens."
Kuechly and the Panthers play host to the Seahawks on Sunday.
