Jaguars without defensive tackle Miller against Titans
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are without starting defensive tackle Roy Miller against Tennessee.
Just days after signing a four-year extension worth $16.2 million, Miller misses his first game of the season because of a sprained knee. He had been listed as questionable. Second-year pro Abry Jones starts in his place.
The Jaguars (2-12) also are without defensive end Andre Branch, receiver Tommy Streeter, safety Matt Daniels, guard Tyler Shatley and cornerbacks Teddy Williams and Jeremy Harris.
The Titans (2-12) are without quarterback Zach Mettenberger, left tackle Tyler Lewan, defensive back Jemea Thomas, linebacker Zaviar Gooden, linebacker Dontay Mooch, offensive tackle Terren Jones and defensive lineman Mike Martin. Mettenberger and Lewan had been listed as doubtful.
Jamon Meredith starts in Lewan's place.
