Baseball for Dino Babers?

Dino Babers comes to Syracuse via Bowling Green, where as head coach his offense averaged 547 yards a game last season. Rich Barnes/USA TODAY Sports

Syracuse Orange head coach Dino Babers might want to stick to his day job.

Along with athletic director John Wildhack, a former ESPN executive, Babers threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.

Hey, it's a cool honor ... but with form like that, we don't think the Chiefs will be calling up Babers or Wildhack for a tryout.
