Nick Saban says he hasn't heard about teams' interest in Lane Kiffin

Alabama coach Nick Saban said he has no knowledge of reports indicating that offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin has drawn interest from other programs.

Kiffin is reportedly a top target of new LSU coach Ed Orgeron. The two worked together when Kiffin was the head coach at Tennessee.

"I don't know anything about that," Saban said Sunday night. "He hasn't come to me about it, and I'm sure he would."

Kiffin is in his third season leading the Alabama offense. Since he took over in 2014, the Tide rank 13th in the FBS in points per game (36.9) and 22nd in yards per game (462.0).

After tutoring Blake Sims and Jake Coker to 3,000-yard passing seasons in 2014 and 2015, Kiffin has developed freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts into one of the SEC's top scorers with 33 total touchdowns this season.
